Hostel Waira in Tilcara is a hidden gem overlooking the beautiful valley of Humahuaca. Our room was cozy, featuring a double bed and a single bed, with Wi-Fi access and a private bathroom ensuring comfort. The hostel's communal kitchen was spacious, allowing us to prepare meals or enjoy the delicious local and international breakfast.Waira Hostel's welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel right at home. We loved taking advantage of the guided hiking tours to explore the stunning surroundings. The hostel's communal areas, including a TV lounge and barbecue with mountain views, were perfect for relaxing and socializing with other guests.The highlight of our stay was juicing fresh oranges for breakfast using their fabulous orange juicer. The 24-hour front desk was convenient for any inquiries or assistance needed. The hostel's location was ideal for exploring nearby shops and restaurants, as well as embarking on short hikes in the area.Hostel Waira provided a unique and memorable experience, blending nature and comfort seamlessly. It's the perfect choice for travelers seeking a peaceful retreat with the opportunity to connect with fellow adventurers and enjoy the natural beauty of Tilcara.
